Montreal Chapter
Montreal Chapter
The Montreal Chapter was founded in late 2006 and serves the Island of Montreal and the surrounding region. Our enthusiastic membership has become active in promoting the organization in Montreal, and we liase with provincial sister groups such as the Mouvement pour une démocratie nouvelle and L'Apathie c'est Plate. Our focus is to increase the profile of Fair Vote Canada in Quebec.
Activities
Visit the Calendar Page for upcoming events. Don't forget to come out to one of our regular social/pub nights and meet other election reformers from every walk of life in a friendly & laid-back atmosphere over drinks.
Volunteer Opportunities
We need motivated volunteers to help with many necessities, such as helping at information booths, translation (both directions), graphic design, co-ordinating projects, publicity, and more. If you or anyone you know can spare a little time to help fix our ailing democracy, please contact Andy Blair at ahblair-at-yahoo.com.
Montreal Chapter Executive
Any local Fair Vote Canada member in good standing can run for an executive position at an Annual General Meeting, held in November. The current executive is:
Barbara Odenwald - President
Benjamin Rankin - Vice-President
Boris-Antoine Legault - Treasurer
Andy Blair - Executive Secretary
Michael O'Brien - Member at Large
