The FVC national office and Executive Committee manage an ongoing federal reform campaign that includes political and media relations programs and public education activities. (See the Home page, News, and Resources sections of this web site.)

We also mobilize our membership and grassroots supporters for specific campaign activities, e.g., during federal elections and at other opportune times. FVC members and volunteers are updated on campaign activities through our e-newsletter and special campaign bulletins.

We want a fair voting system for Canada and a citizen-based process to design it. There are several possible proportional systems including STV and MMP (see Fair voting systems). One system that has been modeled in detail for the Canadian federal context is the Law Commission of Canada’s MMP recommendation (see Mixed Member Proportional systems).
